Paint Code for Intake

I used the search function but couldnt find any topics realting to this. I want to redo my intake in the goldish stock intake color on my 93 ATX. What is the paint code for it?? Anyone else do this?

I remember a long while back that someone had made up a batch of the goldish intake paint. They were offering it for sale by the pint because Ford was no longer producing it. IIRC I saw it in the SHO Registry magazine(if that gives you an idea of how long ago it was ). Unfortunately I don't rememger them saying what the paint code was.

Are you sure its painted? I thought it was just the color of the metal alloy they used...

If not, then DAMN, that is some really good paint! eek!

Its definitely painted, I used brake cleaner to strip some of the original paint off. Ford never offered the paint to the public, the ad that was in the registry magazine a few years ago was some paint that was custom done. More recently someone on SHOtimes mailing list went to a paint store that can take a picture or scan any color and using a computer come up with a match. They had good success doing that, you might want to look into something similar.
