i am new to these v8 sho, on the v8 sho which is bank 1 and which is bank 2 on the cyls ? i have a 97 that has almost zero throttle response and terrible idle and feels like it is running on 4 cyl, as you press gas no response or very little . it will have a little response just off of idle and then a little as you back pedal it and drop down closer to icle.i had no eng light til after the autozone chked it and the code was a p1131 which is something with the heated o2 sensor .... any sugestions would be greatly appreciated thanx jack l .,.... call if you need to plse 931 636 7025

P1131 Lack Of HO2S11 Switch - Sensor Indicates Lean
Bank one is the one with cylinder one or next to the firewall. HO2S1 is the first one before the cat. Look to see if the wire is melted or broken. Mine was rubbing on something and chafed. It is best seen from the passenger side wheel well after the tire and fender liner are removed.
It also helps to drop that side of the subframe to get access. Only a few more steps to get the alternator out!! :cry:
