I have done a search and I have read all the posts relative to replacing these, but as I am doing this for the first time, can anybody give me any advice on where these are located ?
Are there any photos of this procedure any where ?

The O2 sensors (2 of them for a V6 SHO) are located on the downpipes of the front exhaust Y-Pipe, just after the exhaust manifold.

Get under the car, and each will be visible from the underside. The connectors are a push down with the thumb & pull out style clip; with practice you can do it one-handed (imagine a teen practicing to unhook a girl's bra).

Here's a picture of one removed from the car:

and one of the stock (brown) Y-Pipe, with the O2's still in it.

Use a 22(?)mm wrench to break them free. On the Automatic SHO's (93-95), you need a special offset-socket style to get them off, as space is much more cramped in there on the ATX's.

Good luck.

Not so! I used a 22mm wrench on my ATX and had no problems at all. I've done it twice on my car and once on a friend's car.
