Replacing the oxygen sensor was my first. My Silver 1995 ATX has just a little over 100K. I was glad that I listened to all your advise regarding oxygen sensors. Well, last night...I started around 6:00 pm ...placed my car on jack stands and started to look for the two sensors. I went ahead and replaced the front sensor...Whew! It only took me 10 minutes to replace. Came the rear oxygen sensor. This was my first time working in my car with only my left hand (there is just no space for my right hand). It took me a little over 1 hour to get that sensor off and replaced it with a new one. As a rookie on this, I feel proud of myself.

That is just the start. At the present time, I had accumulated all my belts (timing and serpentine), plugs, new wires, gaskets, and CPS sensor. Still waiting on the 60K Tool kit and new shims from Cincy SHO and then I will be well on my way to a major maintenance extravaganza. Honestly, I am excited...can't wait to start the work. I will keep you all posted.

Good job. As you continue to work on your car, you will begin to feel a closer bond to it. It's not just a car - it's a SHO.

Weld in a 8 pt cage (and keep the interior intact) sometime. About 1/2way through the job you'll take the car and push it in a lake.

With how close you are to it,you`d better control your temper. It wouldn`t take much to turn that 89 into a boat.Either that,or the next earthquake may just bounce it there. thumbs_u
