I just got my new tranny put in (boy does it shift nicely with the trans-go), but noticed that it is out of alignment. Is this normal after work where the subframe is dropped? Just wondering if they did anything at the shop out of ordinary. THanks

That doesn't surprise me, but it makes me wary of how they aligned the subframe after they reinstalled the trans. Makes me think they didn't realign it, in fact.

There are alignment holes under the car that you should line up using a dowel or something when reinstalling the SF. I guess it's possible they didn't get it perfect, which will throw everything off up there, including steering components.
