Well, the tire that I had to fix the first week I had the car got another nail in it that couldn't be repaired. So, I had to replace one of those Michelin Primacy MXM4's. I thought my ST tires were expensive! And that is with employee discount!

Thats one the reasons I went with the wheel and tire protection plan on my 2016 lease for $20/month. Havent needed it, but after almost 2 years, I'm still on the upside.

yeah, I lost a Michelin to a drywall screw in the sidewall shoulder, had less than 20k on the tire. At least it happened when I was nearly ready to put the winter rim/tire combo on the car anyway, so I had time to shop deals for a good price. Did not have any protection plan in place for the OE set.

Did get that coverage now, and have been happy with the Continentals that we settled on as replacements, so it all worked out fine. But a big expense because of that one small screw.

Oh, I was able to sell the 3 good ones to a used tire shop, for $20 apiece. At least that was better than paying disposal fee. LOL!

I’m actually coming from a FoST myself. Those 20s are pricey. I’m hoping I can at least get these to last longer then ones on my ST. That thing ate up front tires.

That they did! Two sets of tires by 40,000 miles!
