Ortiz Performance - Customer Service?

Hey guys,

I was wondering if anyone else has had issues with Ortiz.
I ordered parts from him Jan.11
and then nothing.

Checked with him on Feb 27 and he said he was sorry and came up with some options. I chose to keep my order at the full price and would see them in about two weeks.

Should have seen them about March 22nd, And nothing.

Checked with him again March 24th, and he said they are scheduled to be made in the next 2 weeks.

April 9th, I asked for tracking info, and NO REPLY. This is almost 3 months from the original order date.

April 16th, Still no reply and asked if everything is okay?

Today April 23rd. Still NO REPLY. He is a sponsored vendor here and has not shown good customer service to me for as patient and understanding as I have been. And then to be ghosted without a response when he is on here almost everyday?

Where did I go wrong, everyone else seems to praise him?

Hey Chase, my apologies on this. When we did the bulk buys on the battery tie downs, we overwhelmed the vendor with orders and they started making several mistakes and had to re-do several batches for us to the point where it was costing each of us more money than the minimal amount we were making on them. After the 4th re-do on the last batch (poor cuts, flaking powdercoat, etc.) they decided that they didn't want to do them for us anymore due to the manufacturing issues they were having, and them wanting to focus on other areas of their business.

I ended up refunding about 15 orders, and I honestly thought I had refunded you as well. I just looked back in messages and I thought I responded to your previous messages but either they didn't go through from my phone or I just forgot to respond. I just refunded your order, sorry about that lack of communication. I had been posting updates on Facebook and had forgotten that some people had ordered through here and didn't post an update to the project.

I’ve made at least three separate orders from them. Two different times, I reached out a few weeks later asking about shipping or tracking, and those two times I received some sort of a “sorry that one order got passed over” type of deal. Both times, however, Lee was very courteous and made sure the order processed or shipping started or whatever the issue was, right away. I appreciated his assistance.

Thanks to all for showing your support and review of your great service received.

We all are not robots and things sometimes just go wrong. I will chalk it up to my life long curse of being unluckily and will definetly give Ortiz more business in the future.
