Wow.. and only like $40 to ship 'em too... I think I need to add a little charge to my credit card... It's really hard to see my new 11.6"s...

That's pretty tempting... I was thinking about getting something lighter but at that price... :hail:

I like those. If I hadn't already put money into another project I would maybe get a set. $200 isn't bad.

I probably won't have the $$ before the sale is over but I'm curious...does anybody have these in 17" or 18" on a gen 3?

If so, pics? :)

Stock '89-'95 brakes (of course), '96+ 11.6" upgrade, Cobra's on 11.6" (Cobra calipers with modified brackets on 96+ SHO/01+ SLO 11.6" rotors), and SHObros 12.0" Cobra upgrade (13" Cobra kit with cut down rotors and modified brackets) should all fit...

So, 17s are required for the 13" cobra upgrade - 16s will cover everything else including the 12" cobra upgrade (shaved 13" rotors) - correct?

Thanks ! ! ! ! :thumb:

I would imagine you shouldn't have any problems with 17s and the 13" brakes. I don't think any of the spokes or any part of the wheel should interfere with the caliper.

All the brake setups listed above fit under slicers, or are advertised to so so, so. You shouldb't have any problems with the OR52s in the 16" size. I checked my tracking numbers last night and the wheels were in OKC. I should be getting them this week sometime and will report on how well they fit over the '96+ upgrade, although I can't imagine any fitment problems.

Do you recall where they shipped from?

Did you just order rims, or rims and tires?

Anyone have any idea how long this "QuickCheap!!" sale is good for?

When you get them in, would you mind "dry" mounting them for me? I'd really like to see how they look on a GenI.. Did you order 16's or 17's?

Florida, I believe. Here's a screen cap of the tracking info from UPS.

I order wheels by themselves. I won't need to replace my summer only G-force Sports until November at the earliest (wonderful Oklahoma weather), and will search for a good deal on tires until then. I plan on running the same size I'm currently running on slicers, 225/55/16, but getting some all-season Traction T/As.

Yeah, I had planned on taking some pictures to post in this thread in case somebody wanted to search for the OR52s in the future. After looking at Sam's car, I'm sure they'll still look good on a Gen I.

The wheels are in OKC right now. If they make it here by Tuesday, you all will have to wait for pictures until Thursday at the earliest. I'm off work Tuesday, but that day is reserved for giant car/robots fighting, and I work Wednesday.
