I am looking to upgrade the gauge cluster in my 2015 but haven't had much success in finding good information on the options. I know that swapping clusters can be finnicky, besides the obvious necessity of having to reprogram the VIN and Odometer.
The features I am looking for in a new cluster would be a digital speedometer and individual TPMS readout.
Is it possible to swap the clusters from the newer models that have these features? Is going aftermarket full digital worth it?
Just trying to hear from others who know more about it than I.
Thanks!

Ever look through Forscan and seeing if the setting works? I haven't tried turning on the TPMS, however it does show the current display should present the TPMS. $14/year and forums thread.

AFIAK, the IPC firmware is not capable of displaying individual tire pressures. The BCM does read individual tire pressures and can be displayed with FORScan.

I honestly do not know much about any of this subject. Does that mean that, in theory, you could take a 2018 IPC that is able to show this, and use FORScan to tell it to display this information? Full disclosure, i have never used FORScan or know its capabilities.

I keep saying I am going to set that gauge configuration, and keep forgetting.

Texas is using the mobile version of Forscan on his phone, and using a Bluetooth OBDLink MX+ or any compatible version - you enter in the PID's for the TPMS sensors, and you can track this live on your android or iPhone.

We all learned by reading the FAQ's and using YouTube videos. https://forscan.org/download.html

Clarifying, AFAIK, no Taurus IPC can display individual tire pressures.
I apologize, I thought I read a post where they did. I know that in 16+ that they are able to show the digital speedometer. Does this seem do-able with the above mentioned?

I think that now that I own this car, I will need to get all of that. Never needed to own it any of my other vehicles.

Thank you, by the way.

Last owner took really good care of it. Pretty much has every thing you can do to it besides a meth kit and upgraded turbos. (Tune, full EPP, PPE DP’s, full SW exhaust, etc.) He also was religious in the maintenance. So I’m one step ahead in making it last. Just got to carry on what he was doing.
