Whaddaya think?

i-1.JPG

This is the least "ricey" racing seats I could find outside of actual Recaro's or or other name brand seats. My car is blue inside and black/gray ouside so I think they would look good. Price is $320+shipping for the pair. Has anyone ever ridden in a car with no-name racing seats in it? Are they comfortable and supportive?

I paid $350 for mine after shipping. I got them off Ebay. I drive my car everyday, and I love how comfortable they are. They only weigh 18lbs. each. And the build quality is quite nice.

I made my own brackets from some aluminum angle iron. It took me roughly 15-20 hours total time. That includes- cutting of the metal, drilling holes, bringing to my welder for the finishing product, and painting. I feel it was well worth my time, I love the way these seats feel. Absolutely priceless matched with a tight suspension.

I like 'em. I think that they would look good in my blue sho too. Good price too.

I havn't seen my credit card statement yet but here's what I expect them to cost:

$319+115(shipping)=$434US

$434US x 1.6(exchange rate)=$695CDN

$695 + 7%GST + $45(brokerage)=$789CDN

The GST and brokerage fees are collected by FedEX/UPS when the item is delivered.

I havn't got them yet but I hope they are. A wooden crate is probably more comfortable and supportive than the stock Topaz seats though...lol! I would have loved some Recaros or Sparcos but they are just too much $$$.
