I'm getting a new hood to replace the one that was crunched by a skate boarder, how much am I looking at to get a hood stripped and painted Opal Frost for my 94? My dad said he though a one year run paint would be spendy, but I figured it's just a mix code not like Mystic or something like that.

Paint is paint. There are lots of cars that have some pearl in the paint from the factory, so it's not somthing exotic. The paint will have to be color matched anyway, the chances of it matching by the paint store just mixing it off of the paint code are slim.

Jelloslug is correct. If you want the paint to match exactly perfect with that color, you are better off having the front bumper and the fenders blended to match.
Some paint-shops have a little camera that can take a color sample of the paint, analyze it, then it is possible to get the proper shade of the paint( Opal Frost could have quite a few color variances in the paint formula.)

So, it IS possible to get the right color mixed, but spraying technique and fading on the surrounding parts could throw off the color of the new hood.

Just my $.02 ... I am an ex-bodyman.

I'll second that, but anyway back on topic How much do you guys think a hood and I guess the front cover would run? Fenders are in good shape but the front has a few "oops" marks from the last owner.

I was just quoted from my local Ford body shop $250 to paint a cowl hood plus an extra $30 if I wanted the bottom of the hood clear coated. This included blending the fenders and bumper cover.
