well in the past month i have replaced every single small coolant line on the driver side of the motor. i even had to replace the really short piece of tubing that connects the thermostat housing to the rear head. the pipe was only about 3 inches long but man what a pain in the a$$. i had to take the intake and fuel rails off to get to it. since then i have had to replace 3 other little lines that run under the intake. i also had to replace the hose for the oil cooler as well... also not fun on the side of the highway at 3 a.m. (got creative with what i had and used alot of brass to make the 180 degree turn)

and i know what your thinking, its not the radiator cap. i checked it multiple times and it functions properly. the lines are just old and really soft.

dont mean to rant but i just want to offer some advice, if you are in there replacing any of these small lines take the time and replace them ALL.

Once the system holds pressure properly, the next weakest link fails. That's been my experience anyway.

Coolant hoses on the SHO are like christmas lights; one goes they all go!

I replaced all of mine during my 1st 60k. I performed the TB bypass mod for my 2nd 60k.

Same thing here. They all age at roughly the same rate. It's a crap shoot as to which one blows first, but when you replace it, look out!

And that's why I tell people if one hose blows, just replace them all now while you got the coolant system drained. Saves so much time...
