Oil Sending unit?

I've got a oil leak in the back left hand side of the motor. Right below number 3. Looks like an oil sending unit. If it is any helpful tips as to how to get that little bu doh gger out of there?

Ah, oil sending unit socket, maybe? Open end wrench, box wrench, take your pick. rangerj
