For the record it was indeed the rod bearings. I have found out the cars crankshaft was turned by a previous owner, therefore I installed standard sized bearings after following some advice. I learned the hard way to take the extra time and use plastigage and check the clearances!SonicRiot said:Is the car burning oil?
