Oil Leak

I woke up this morning to bring my siblings to school, Im walking out to the driveway I spotted a huge puddle(see picture) from where my car was that night. Cursing, since I literally just had my oil changed not even a while ago. I changed my oil at 94971 and the car currently has 95345 on it. So the change was recent. Once I checked my oil, it said im losing a quart. I have a feeling the oil pan has a crack in it and is leaking. But im going to bring it in and see whats going on after class.

Heres the mess I came out to this morning,

Check the drain plug and filter for leaks.

I would also check oil cooler or the sensor on top of it.
Good luck finding that leak.

Old gasket from old filter still stuck on there. Did you make sure the old one came off?

been there, done that.
the old filter rubber gasket stayed on the mount area where the new filter was screwed on.
result...an extra gasket, thus leakage.
learned my lesson on that one.

Your lucky if it just leaks. Normally when you double gasket the filter o-ring, it blows completely out and you drain all of you end up pumping all of the oil out of the engine. Hope it is something simple.

Some things to just throw out there, is the oil filter on tight? Is it double gasketed like mentioned? Is the drainplug leaking?

Other than that I"m not to familiar with the Gen III's.
