I have a small amount of oil leaking in my plug wells and I'd like to nip this in the bud before it gets bad. I have heard many posts about a Fel-Pro gasket set that includes plug well seals and valve cover gaskets for like $72 from autozone. I just looked on their website and they don't list one for the 95 ATX? Will the earlier kits fit and be the same or are there differences that will prevent it from working.

This happened to my 1993 sho. You will need to get the seals and the one metal gasket for the middle of the air intake system. I bought my gaskets as a kit costed me 112.00 but you don't need all of them there are places that just sell the one gasket and the spark plug seals.I will ask around and get back to you. I would reccomend changing your wires since you will already be there.

The Fel-Pro VS50378R set includes the two valve cover seals and the six spark plug well seals. The oil in the plug wells is getting past the old plug well seals. This Fel-Pro set fits the 3.0L and the 3.2L SHO engines and can be purchased through AutoZone.com for $71.99. You do not need the two metal shim gaskets that fit between the intake manifold and the heads. These are not a source of oil leakage and can be reused for a good 120,000 - 180,000 miles until the black finish chips off. These metal gaskets only contain the manifold vacuum.

Thanks Scott. The Autozone website doesn't have a listing for the 3.2. So I wasn't sure.

I was wondering your opinion on this. Why would you not change those gaskets if your there anyways. I understand that they are reusable but people that use this car everyday like me would end up stuck I I didn't order those intake gaskets...take it apart and find out that it is bad. For the minimal amount I would change them just to be safe. Just my .02 cents.

I replaced mine at the 180,000 mile valve gapping service. When I do the work for others, if they bring the gaskets, I install them. If they are needed and the owner didn't bring them, I install the spare set that I keep.
