Oil filter upgrade?

Hey there, I was wondering if anyone knows if the oil filter from an F-150 will fit the SHO. I know the truck filter is considerably larger, just wondering if the OD of the O-ring and thread pattern are the same. I find the filter for the car small wich concerns me a little.

Yes they will fit, because they are the same.

The stock MC filter is fine for 5k mile intervals. If you were going 10k or 15k then a larger filter would be needed.

Well guys, I went to my local parts store and had them cross reference the 2 oil filters. And it turns out they are both the same.
