^I drive it like a boosted SHO :)

It's worth it to me. Finding a used MTX is usually no problem and replacing them is a breeze for me. Sure it gets a little annoying but it's not your average boosted SHO;)

two of em in the chandler pick and pull right now... both of them in gen 2s...

just sayin...

Although the turbo will give better torque then the centrifugal blowers, 12-14 PSI on a boosted SHO is exactly what I would call 'average' ;)

Well, I grenaded trans #3. This time, instead of the usual 3rd gear wipe, I managed to snap the entire input shaft it two. Everyone like carnage pics, right? ;) I was shifting into 2nd, BTW.

Ha... I'm only average :(. I set my bypass valve to vent at 14 PSI :)

As soon as I get around to fixing the wiring harness (again), and get the car tuned without fighting electrical gremlins, I'm probably going to increase the spring pressure to leave it closed through out redline. I've pretty much given up hope of doing anything more. Giving it more power will just make is slower as wheels spin through more than half my gears is already a problem. When I get the STi, it'll run faster times stock :(

^Having problems on a dyno is no fun. Not cheap either. That STi will be a blast tho. I just bought an 04 WRX today and ripped it all through the desert on Watson road North of the I-10. It's slow as balls on the street but what a blast in the dirt!

I don't tune on the dyno... There's no need to ;) If you use all the available data (data logging), you can tune it on the street. Go to the dyno for big numbers. If I can't run a tune safely on the street with out ANY worries, I don't run it.

Do you have any plans for the WRX? It's very easy to get 50 extra ft-lbs of torque. I definitely have plans for the STi ;)

yes i did and apparently, it worked. The reinforcement was made to eliminate the shaft flex and eventual 3rd gear destruction following. Now on to the next weak link...

I'd call 350/350 an average boosted sho...:woo-hoo:

woo hoo, i'm above the average then :)
