I might be willing to do my house if Kevin doesn't want his house, we'd only be able to fit 4 cars in my driveway though  But we could work it out, my grass is resilient. It'd be nice to not have to leave town for once :thumb:

The last meet, at Paul's, was pretty far for many members in SC and the Charlotte/Western NC area. The Richmond area would offer similar travel issues. I was hoping to have a fall meet somewhere in the central NC, possibly in the Triangle or Triad areas. Anyone willing to host? Any ideas for activities? :thankyou:

SHO meet fall

my place always an option- large driveway and yard, non-nosy neighbors, good food close by and school bus drive-around at high-school for pics and line-up.

sept 24-25 (last wkend) or oct 22-23 (2nd to last wkend) best for me.

JD:salute:

Thanks JD, your place would work out perfectly. In fact, I was thinking about working out a combo set-up using both our places. We can talk more about this.

Are you still in CH? You made a comment at VIR about being in Danville, VA. :salute:

My thought is for a meet using JD's suggestion of Sept 24(Saturday) as a date. The idea I have is to meet at JD's around 10-11am. We can have a lunch cook-out(as we have done before) there or go to a local restaurant as a lunch option. We could then go to the school lot, near JD, for photo session. After a "short" photo session, depending on weather, we could then caravan up to my place for some swimming at my pool along with snacks and drinks. I thought this might make a good "end of summer" get together. What do you think? :salute:

Sounds good to me. Where is JD's house so I know how far.

Still waiting to hear from JD on that. He did live in CH, but he made a comment(when we were at VIR) that lead some of us to wonder if he had moved to Danville, VA. I'll pass along more definitive info once we get things finalized.
