Don, I'm counting the days until the event too. I even changed my brake fluid for the first time in nearly 294,000 miles. I think I can even tell a difference in the firmness of the pedal, but since I didn't have any fade problems during any visits to MSR, I think it is just maintenance and not road course preparation.
In other frisky driving readiness duties, I replaced the ignition lock cylinder and stitched up a split in the driver's seat right rib bolster. They won't help me go any faster, but they'll make me feel better about being around all those much younger cars.
I think Michele just gave me the "OK" to make it to the Run on Saturday too. It turns out that she wants a weekend away in a couple of months.
Pray for dry weather that weakend.

I don't have a SHO anymore, but I would like to take part with the winter run. I currently drive a GTP, and if yall will have me, I just need some info on where to show up on that saturday.

Plus the 95 is having electrical gremlins (remember that Laurence fiasco Scotty?) and don't want to push her hard until I get that worked out.

Just a reminder to all that plan on making the run to make sure
to bring your radios along. Also for those going to MSR and are
meeting for breakfast bring your radios there too so we don't
loose anyone from IHOP to MSR. ALSO for both events make
sure you have a full tank of gas, that's a full tank before you hit
the mall, and a full tank before you hit IHOP.

The meeting is at Ridgmar Mall, west parking lot, 10:00 AM and the address is 2100 Green Oaks Rd, Fort Worth. If you are going up I-45, then you probably want to take US 287 to the north-west. That almost gets you there. Just enter the address into Mapquest and you'll get a good idea of how you want to get there. Under normal speed, it should take about 3.5-4 hours to get there, I think...
