Well a little update on the SHO, it started misfiring again on the same cylinder (#2) after I changed the plugs and coil packs around. My buddy says it could be an o2 sensor giving bad fuel to air ratio causing the misfire only on acceleration. Not sure if he's right or wrong and I haven't had time to do the compression test due to work. Also I tried the shudder fixx and its definitely not transmission related it's just misfiring on acceleration causing me to think it's a transmission related issue with the jerking. So I guess I'll move over to checking the injectors to see if that could be it.

Is there any problem drilling a weep hole in the side of the intercooler? My buddy had a SnapOn mechanics scanner and we were watching the pressures of the injectors, and vacuum and he said it looks pretty normal. Also what I'm seeing on a lot of the F-150 forums with the same engine is that water and oil gets into the intercooler and goes to the intake manifold under high pressure and causes sputtering only in the number #2 cylinder and causes misfires that way. Not to mention living in Florida the humidity is above 90% all the time, also I drove it during the colder rainy nights and this started happening... Any thoughts on this?

Check for crud in the intercooler first. If there isn't anything noticeable, you don't need a solution like that. Yes, drilling the intercooler is popular among the F150 crowd, but they also have issues with the intercooler design pre-TSB. I would not follow in their footsteps just yet.

Knowledgeable people have mentioned concerns about boost leak also with drilling holes in the intercooler. Not sure how much of a concern it is in reality, but that is another thing to watch for.

My po430 code was excess valve cover oil in intake tract caused same symptoms and cause that cat efficiency code right before my rear cat went out and had to be replaced. Ford wanted 1200 bucks to replace valve cover oil separator, I put on my own.

Well apparently I don't know how to follow simple firing orders because I ended up pulling the wrong damn one, I pulled #4 instead of #2 because of some firing chart I found on google was wrong. I feel pretty dumb lol. Also I found oil on the top portion of the threads next to the silicone connector on top... so I'm thinking piston rings are starting to get worn or the gasket is going bad.

So I bought a used 2013 SHO with 130k on her, was running fine until now. Runs normal until you start to give it about half throttle to get moving and starts to shudder and then misfires on cylinder #2. I took out the plug in cylinder #2 and it looked fine, almost looks new other than a bit of carbon on the end of it (as to be expected). Did a test on the coil pack and its got voltage so I'm stumped. I don't think it's the transmission because it still does it in manual mode. It seems to quiver at about 2-3k RPM and then misfire when you give it a bit more gas. I've talked to multiple people about it and researched a few forums with the same keywords and most of them say dirty throttle body or nicked crank sensor. Any thoughts?
I have a 2012 that had the same issues. It turned out to be the torque converter. Once replaced no more issues.

Valve cover gasket can definitely leak, #3 has been the favorite location for Gen V. Gen IVs are more prone to leaking on bank 2.

I was thinking that at first but theres only oil on the top portion of the threads, not on the ceramic part of the plug.

Also I think someone ran more than the recommended amount of oil in it before I bought it because it was a quarter of an inch over the max fill line. I was thinking that they might not of known or didn't have a good understanding of cars.

Its definitely not transmission related, thanks for the reply though.
