Has anyone looked into converting the v6 to ODB2?

Is it even possible? Seems like there are a lot of plug and play tuning devices for ODB2 vehicles.

OMG that would make my ATX-MTX conversion (with MTX ecu/harness in a atx car) look like childplay.

But anything's possible , got time?

I would start with a duratech wirering with a tuner...

Right off the bat you need 4 o2's....

Converting signals , crank sensor /cam /knock..

Challenging? More then anything most have ever done.

I imagine it would not be easy...but ODB2 has a lot more flexibility than it's predicessor; so it might not be as hard ... especially on an MTX ... as you think...but I have no idea what a headache it would turn into...probably a big one.

I had thought about it myself..... I would have thought that a Vulcan processor would be easier..... being a coil pack vs COP, and being that you can get a vulcan proc in a MTX form

ATX/MTX again is no problem with a tuner. COPS can be used on the V6 SHO IIRC. Doesn't some one have this?

Duratec would be the better setup with a coil pack. Some Vulcans don't use a KS.

Making an OBD1 car an OBDII car is kind of like making russia a democracy. Technically possible, but highly unlikely.

for those who are electronically adapt, it's not that hard.... most sensors are the same, injectors and such, it's just a bit of wiring involved, once that is in, then it's just the ECM programming.
