For any AZ SHO Club dudes and dudettes that might be interested, after Saturday's tech session on F-22 Raptor's SHO, we will be having another informal meeting of the AZ SHO Club at the Pavillions of Scottsdale. We should be there by 4:00 pm to try and get a long enough row of spaces for everybody to be close.

My Wife's uncle, Dick Smith, will be our guest of honor and we will be celebrating his 75th birthday by taking him to his favorite Five&Diner across the street. Dick is an old Hot Rodder from the 50's through the 80's. His personal car was selected by the Henry Ford Museum to represent what America did with his Model A. He is also a master metal worker who taught Industrial Arts at ASU when it was just called Arizona State College at Tempe. Before he started to have health problems, he gave free classes in metal working ( like how to make a windshield post, AKA A-pillar, for a model A) every saturday morning at SO-CAL Speed Shop on McDowell Rd.

Come on out and enjoy the SHOw.

I'll be thar!

Not sure whether I'll show the SHO at the Pavillions, though. I'm still a bit tweaked about the acid damage on the RH side, which makes it a bit less worth showing off. We'll see.

Likely be up to work on the Pumpkin as well. You'll like what I've done with the new subframe...hehe...

Gee I hope my car is back together by the time you all leave for the show.. ;)

Eric, I will be brining your rotunda kit back...thanks for the loan, it came in very handy.

I was just at the henry ford museum in July. Amongst the model T's, they had the first Mercury Lynx to roll off the assembly line (woo hoo) and one of the first Taurus's. Nope, not an SHO, but it was purdy.
