It sounds like we have the interest for the Friday October 6th track day at Spokane, so it is time to get organized. So far those that said they plan to drive the track are:

Karen S
Victor W
Casey W
Kris M
Glen A (yes I called him and the Yellow SHO should be ready in time)

Those who might be interested are:

Kurt G

The way this works is drivers need to go to http://www.adaremotorsports.com/fatt.html and fill out the registration form and fax it in with payment. Scott said you can cancel without penalty up to noon on the day before the track day, so it does not hurt to register now even if you have to cancel later. If you register and pay at the track it costs an additional $50, so pay early. The track is a true lapping day with no run groups. You can pass anywhere on the track, but ONLY WITH A POINT BY. The track is open from 8am-4pm, and he said it is not uncommon to get 250-300miles of track time (that is over 100 laps). He usually recommends a 30minute instructor check ride for $30 for experienced track drivers who are new to Spokane. Sign up under the advanced instruction box and give hime a call or email. If you want more instruction, they have a more extensive instruction for $100, or if you want a full day, it is there too. You must sign up in advance for the instructors, so do it now; you will not regret having an instructor to help you get comfortable with the track. I know it sounds like a lot of money, but it will let you get more for the rest of your money (travel, motel, registration). As for passengers, he said passengers are allowed on a case by case basis based on driver proficiency. If he knows you want to take passengers, he can watch you and if you are safe, he will allow passengers (usually in the afternoon). Karen will have the supercharged 95 there, and should be able to give rides if anyone wants one. For those not familiar with Spokane, the front straight is 1.25 miles long, and you enter it shifting into 4th gear. I am pretty sure a normally aspirated SHO will bury the speedometer needle, so I am curious to see what a supercharged SHO will do.

Post up when you register, so I can keep track of who is going, and keep the group sort of organized (it is like hearding cats).

We will probably convoy over to the track Thursday night. There is a nice new motel right next to the track, and may add some other events, so even if you don't want to drive the track or ride along, ALL are welcome to just come out and have some end of the summer fun and hang out.

Let me know if you have any questions,

- Mike
