occassional whitish smoke

i am buying a certified 85k motor, but the seller mentioned that the motor wil pass a little white smoke occassionally. He states definetely not blue, it never used any oil. He said it didn't smell like anti-freeze. Anyone have any thoughts or ideas ? concerns ??

Well.. I decided not to risk it. I got a 135k mile motor with a 30 day warranty for the same price without the smoke issue.
