So i will try to be short winded but this has been going on some time. My 2011 SHO, always maintained at 138,000 mile showed some white smoke coming from the exhaust last year. A few weeks later a ton came from unfer the hood and exhaust. It was pretty low on oil. I filled the oil and it drove fine with no overheating and took to my mechanic who said engine was bad. I replaced with a new/ rebuilt engine and received a 3 year 100k warrant on the motor. Since I have had the car a long time and have replaced many parts as needed, I decided it was worth it. I also replaced the turbos being a possible cause as well as the radiator. About 3000 mile in to the new motor the same ting happens and I now have to wait a few weeks but finally get the new motor from the warranty company and my mechanic installs. It at about 2000 miles it happens again, for literally 10 seconds so I take it to the mechanic and he says they cant find anything wrong .t smokes on them first thing in the morning yet they cannot determine why. It did not happen again with them as they kept it for a few days. I took it to another reputable mechanic and it never smoked for them and they could not find any issues. So about 5 weeks ago it happened 1 more time and as soon as I put it into drive and took off the smoke was gone in 10 seconds or so and has not happened again. The car drives fine and plenty of power. There is a slight tick in the morning and slow driving. I took it 2 days ago for an oil change at 2500 miles from the last oil change and they said was a half quart low ? I really like the car but am now petrified of going too far away and getting stranded. Any ideas, just seems strange to have the same issue this many times. No oil on the ground either. Really cant sink too much more money into it without a solid fix.....Any help would be greatly appreciated !

new engine from Jasper?

in any case, water condensation will billow white smoke from the exhaust after vehicle has sat overnight.

when you had that excess smoke with the original engine, that definitely could have been the engine or it could have been the turbos going bellyup. ancient history now. there have been tsbs from ford on this issue. i think the valve cover ? it's been a while lol.

iirc, no one has had low oil issues if the engine and turbos are working properly unless they windowed the block somehow (for example, flooring the throttle before engine has warmed up).

hopefully you get the oil changed at a trustworthy place. use 5w30 full synthetic at minimum, one of the "heavier" varieties such as redline, castrol, etc. check row 30 in this spreadsheet

the oil filter is also important, i would use a purolator boss pbl22500 for best results.

make sure the pcv valve assembly is new also. otherwise you are working off of old gunked up parts.
