Looks like you beat me to it, and thank you for not posting it to the forum and PMing it instead.

As far as the outfit that took the car away... i believe it they were called "wreckers" or maybe "crushers" and they were located in elgin or west chicago. I posted the details about them on SHOcago.com, so once that comes back online, you can get the exact details from there.
