A better answer is that our intake maniflids were never designed to hold a liquid, only air. With a wet system the fuel will fall out of suspension and puddle in the intake and lean the mixtures out among the cylinders. I know, I've got the burned exhaust valves to prove it.

FWIW, I still have my direct port manifold up for grabs. First one with 5 bones gets it.

Five dollars? DEAL :)

I've had a lot of fun with my Zex kit. I don't know anything about the NOS kit, but the Zex can be installed in a couple hours, and seems to be really compatible with the SHO.

I think the clutch might not like it after awhile though..... that is, if your'e still on the stocker.

With that said, I still plan on jetting my car for a 100shot as well.... :naughty: It's holding the 80 very well.

How nice are you going into gears with the giggle gas?

Fairly nice. Once the clutch is pedal is back up, I slowly get back into WOT. Not exactly slow, but i'm not bangin' gears either.
I have a video of me running through the gears off the bottle. It's very close to how I run on the bottle. There's no need to really slam gears anymore. I mean, the car is not insanely fast, but it most deffinetly gets up and moves.

P.S http://www.holley.com/05120NOS.asp just saw that on the NOS site. it says for use on the 3 and 3.2l taurus SHO on the site and in the manual it says for a GM 2.8l or a ford 3.4l.....

Another Q what does everyone pay per LB for their Nitrous? anyone looked into their own fill station?

That's just my opinion on what I have seen and read.

As far as nitrous consumption, it depends on the jetting you run, temp., bottle pressure, etc....
