Hello All,
I have a buddy of mine that is a NOS dealer that is willing to hook me up with parts for a good deal. :naughty: But I am in need of some info. Since NOS does not make a kit for the SHO, can you guys that have installed them from other companies give me a parts list of what is included? Basically a complete parts list would be perfect including stuff like what size lines and what type of purge solenoid is used. I will be making my own NOS kit from all their separate components and getting this info will save me a lot of time and effort. Also what plugs are you guys running as well as which fuel pump/regulator did you switch out to.

Thanks in advance for your help! :thumb:

Fuel pump wise, atleast a 155lph. A 190 will do as well.

Since the kit that is widely used, ZEX 82011, has a NMU, most do not install a adj. FPR. As the NMU spikes FP when the nitrous is armed.

Not too many people are running a NOS "kit"... most have the ZEX. But there are a few.
Sorry i couldnt help with the NOS part selection.

make sure you have a way to keep an eye on your air/fuel
using a "NOS' product you dont have the same fail safe as the Zex system
if your not careful you can blow your engine!
also make sure you switch to colder plugs,I.E> Autolite 3923 they cost around
$1 a piece.also as someone has already said, upgrade you fuel pump to the walbro 155,for added protection

NOS 5115.

This the best and safest kit. I'd recommend a 190lph pump.

The Zex NMU is a joke. The only goo thing about it is that it triggers via TP voltage where the NOS kit uses a switch. Also, there is only one solenoid in the Zex kit. The NOS kit has two.

For a softer hit, make the nitrous injector line (solenoid to nozzle) as long as possible. I use a 1" piece of 3" exhaust pipe and insert it into the throttle inlet hose, then thread the nozzle into it. This makes sure it can't move or shift out of position.

Be careful of this stuff. I'm an old nitrous ****** and this stuff is like crack cocaine, "a little feel this good, lets try a little more". I had a $400 a month nitrous habit for some time...until I built my own superchargers...
