I think it's kind of funny how it seems that 1 in every 10 or so postings in the Gen 3 section is from someone with an 89-95 SHO. I'm not saying that their questions aren't welcome, but I'm just curious as to how it is that people come to post their questions in the Gen 3 area when it's so far down the page from the Gen 1 or 2 areas.
I know that not everyone knows which year is which generation. Just an observation that I've made.

I assume that many forum members try to keep up to date with postings by checking the "new Posts" link.

Check it out, when you press it, it takes you to a list of new posts/threads. On that page, there is no info as to what gen forum the thread resides :bonk:

I have caught myself reading and just about to reply to a few Gen 3 threads (while thinking it was pertinent to gen 1 or 2) by following such a link from the "New Posts" page.

One of the Gen III sections is called "General Discussion" and I've ended up in there accidentely a few times trying to get to the regular General Discussion... maybe that's it... dunno.

They all wish they could have a V8 ;)

Ummm, NO. I like my solid cams, thanks. :)

I would love a V8, but it'd likely be a GM product I'd return to.

I post in here occasionally just to offer a different point of view. I'm not on the V8 lists, but know enough of the guys who do that a) I can learn by getting involved in the discussions, and b) perhaps a fresher look on things is a good thing.

But hey, if you guys want to be the elitist snobs that everyone makes SHO guys out to be, no problem! But, I'd extend that to allow only BLACK SHOs' owners in here, myself. ;)

Seriously though, while they are totally different animals IMO, with different pros & cons, there are some things that cross generations.
