Noise comming from ac

My a/c is making a nocking noise from inside. Sounds as if is comming from the defrost area. Has any one had this problem?

Is it still blowing cold air? When is the last time it was recharged or checked for contaminants? I assume you have R-134A because you have a '95...you didn't mix in R-12 or a mixed coolant, did you? Is it leaking?
Or maybe it is just a fan or stuck vent problem.

I believe its the vent. Sounds like something wants to open but then the pop noise sound. a/c was charge last summer. Could it be something fell inside making the vent close?

If it is coming from deep inside the dash, dead center and directly below the center of the windshield: BDA (Blend Door Actuator) has a broken gear.

Projectsho89 how could i fix it or stop doing it. I dont use the a/c much mostly in the summer. Could i cut the power just to the a/c to stop the noise.
