No sunroof?

Is it rare for a Gen I to not have the power sunroof, because mine doesn't. I do however have a factory spoiler..is that rare too?

90 SHOs didn't not have a factory spoiler, and although many SHOs have moonroofs, it was far more common for gen1 NOT to have them...

your spoiler is likely from a 91 Plus.

The Plus was a '91 option only. They usually consists of a fiberglass "powerbulge" hood, a rear deck lid spoiler, chrome side window trim, body colored belt line stripe (rather than black), blacked out mirrors and "B" and "C" pillars. They usually have the rod shifter also but that's not a plus specific item. All of the "features" were on top of a fully loaded SHO and there have been document cases of almost every Plus "option" (spoilers, hoods, blacked out mirror, etc.) being missing from genuine Plus optioned cars.

So really no big whoop, except for maybe the lighter hood. I don't have a black stripe and the Taurus name plate on the deck lid is the same color as the car (It is obvously been repainted but needs to be painted again!!) I DO like the color keyed "Taurus" name plate.

Jeloslug, I forgot you put a digital dash in your's. I had that on my '90 Cougar I LOVED it and miss it (it was std. on 89's & 90's) it was optional on the LX only right?
