probably not. i am just trying to figure out how many volts should be going to the fuel pump when it is in the run position? does anyone know?

I just tried replacing the fuel pump. The car still doesn't start. I still have a Dim check engine light, no fuel pump prime, and CEL stays on when i crank but is dim. I tried priming the fuel pump while i tried to start the engine. the car still wouldn't start with pressure at the rails. ??? I don't know what to do.
