Driving at 70 mph, 94 mtx shuts down, Thinking it is a bad water pump causing a cps to cut out I waited 30 min to see if the car would start back up and at least I could get off the freeway. No luck. I had to leave the car 100 miles at a secure location. I went back a week later, still no start, it has fuel pressure, no spark. I change out the DIS, and the CCRM and still nothing. All the grounds are good. The timing belt is turning the cams so it's not broken. The only thing I can think of is 1, the coil pack is bad. the computer when bad or the CPS is bad. When you turnover the motor, the tach does jump up slightly Is there anything I am missing here on my possible diagnosis?

As long as it's the sensor .. I am not sure when the last time the water pump was changed on this car. It has 113K on it so I imagine it's on it's second pump. I have had several SHO's have the water pump causing the sensor to get wet but they all start up after it dries out. This one won't start up even after sitting a week. That's what baffles me.
