So I decided it was my crank sensor. Sensor got changed last night, but the thing still wouldn't start. Funny thing was, when I would turn the key on, the CEL light would just flash, and not stay on like before. I tried to check codes via the paperclip method, and nothing would happen Fuel pump primes, and the car turns over, but of course with no spark, it doesn't start. With the CEL just flashing, I've heard that a) when the CEL light is on, it detects the sensor or b) the pcm is working. The fact that I couldn't run codes, tells me pcm. Brian (TYSHO) agrees. I'm not trying to step on his toes or anything, but like going to the doctor before surgery, I'd like a second opinion, or even a general consensus before I start throwing more money at it.

Thanks guys.

Did you reconnect the small wire at the battery that feeds the PCM?

What wire are you talking about? I have the + and - and then a ground wire connecting to the -. No wires have been moved or changed.

Had to remove my battery to do the front end work, did you not?

There's a wire for the PCM that goes straight to the battery. I think it's a ground. NOt sure ATM.

Was the PCM acting this way BEFORE you changed the CPS?
