Has anyone else had this problem? i have absolutely zero brake pressure at the rear wheels. i still have good brake pedal height, and it is firm. i belive it is in the load sensing proportioning valve hooked to the pass. side rear suspension. anyone know a cheap/easy way to fix it. i think it is a dealer only part, and i prlly can't afford it. i despretly need rear brakes tho, i almost didn't stop coming off the highway the other day, brake fade is horrible with just 2 front brakes.

anyway, thanks for any help!!

for a easy quick fix, and to see if its working properly. get an intake coupler the metal band thing, and put it around it. aorund the block and around the lever, and tighten it down.
That will allow more pressure to the rear wheels...

you have to be careful though, this may cause the ABS to kick in early.. so you have to be gental with it. i would recomend you get the rear brakes done first before doing this.

I am having the same problem...I removed the calipers today, and both rear most sliders were seized, and pad wear is little to none...

Time for new loaded calipers and brake cables. I already have stainless lines...

Yup, check those rubber brake hoses in the rear. They're probably collapsed. It's also likely that the entire caliper has been shot as well. You're in Michigan? Check to see if the parking brake cables haven't rusted/siezed up and are what burnt up the rears.

you are testing with a load on the rear suspension right? or else the load sensing proportioning valve will shut off all supply beyond the valve itself.

it is very common to have a collapsed line though, and very possible that the caliper has seized...

easy way to check that there is brakes, do a hard stop and then get out and touch the wheel...the heat distribution through the wheel from the brakes frictional forces will let you know if that particular brake is doing its fair share.
