No Radio Reception for No Reason?

I was taking my head unit out to take a look at the antenna to modify it for a custom up/down switch.. Alls I did was unplug the antenna and power supply then plugged them back in.. Now I don't get any radio reception, just good old static.. tape deck and cd player still work but no radio. Any suggestions? Short out the wiring? Now I use my ipod most of the time anyway, but still something I want fixed soon. Thanks.

did you make sure to push the antenna connector in all the way? It goes in farther than you'd think.

Also, make sure you didn't crumble the wiring!
