Okay my car has been running like a champ since it's overhaul at FPS. In the past week it has started this odd not holding an idle problem. It started after the car has been running for awhile and would stall out when you pushed the clutch in to coast(parking garage). It would only do it once and would start right up and not do it anymore. I made a long distance trip the other night to Rome and back in 3 hours (from Naples) average speed 110 mph. Had to take a visiting Shoforum member(Snickter-P) back up to his families house. The car didn't do it once on the way there or back. Car got about 300 miles out of a full tank to the gas warning light doing 100+ the whole way there and 20 min worth of idling at his families house.
Skip to the next morning went to top off my brake resevior to get rid of the pesky brake warning light(fixed the problem BTW) and started the car. It started right up as usual and died right back off. Did this multiple times. But if I start it and give it gas it will run fine til you let off the gas, then it will stall right out. I think it is either the Fairly new IAC/IAB valve or the TPS which was also fairly new(2 years ago). The car has 0 other problems. None. Zip. Zilch. I need to order the new part(s) soon but need to figure out which one it is. BTW it doesn't throw a CE light. Just won't idle at all. I did the classic mechanic and gave the IAB a couple whacks and still a no go. Don't want to go into what the car has new just look at my Sig.
