...yeah, so i have no headlights. i have PARKING lights, and if i pull back on the MFS, i have hi-beams...but NOTHING for headlights and when i push the MFS forward for hi-beams locked on, nothing either.

i've checked the fuses, swapped the headlight switch with another known good and inspected the lights themselves (appear to be fine), but have not checked voltage as of yet, nor have i swapped the lights because i don't have spares yet.

so...any ideas what this could be? i'll tear back into it tonight, but if anyone has any input, it's greatly appreciated.

thanks!

If you can pull back on the MFS, you should get hi and low beams. If you have hi beams and you push the MFS forward with the lights on, they should turn on. I dont think the bulbs are the culprit. Maybe the automatic headlight adjuster part has something wrong with it.

Your problem is most definately the multi function switch or MFS. I propped my high beams on with a ball point pen for a month before I pulled out the MFS and noticed that it was fried internally. I pulled 2 different MFS (and picked one out of the mud) from the junk yard to make sure that I had a good one and enough spare parts to fix me up with a backup.

The one that came out of the mud was perfect internally, and I've been using it for 2 years.

Change your MFS and let us know.
