You know it's funny... data logging was a selling point for my Livernois purchase as well. I purchased the MyCal Touch for my tuner, which does data logging with your own choice of parameters, it's upgradable to Ford specific data codes form the manufacturer, an all around great device. They just ran out recently though, and won't be getting more of them since they're only useful for the 2010-2012 set... though I got the impression they were getting an even better touch screen device shortly that will blow mine away, and work with every year SHO.

That said, I'm not sure if I can get a custom tune using the data logs from them, I've never asked - but I can't see why they wouldn't.

Awesome that you can do that right now with Torrie's tunes though.

the new sctx4 doesnt look half bad either

In my opinion, the X4 looks OK-ish. I find the custom shape is a bit odd, but I can see it appealling to some. IMO, the best looking tuner is the Diablo Trinity T1000. Don't think it's suitable for our cars, unfortunately, but it's pretty cool looking... and seems to have similar features to the MyCal touch. (I've seen it sold for F150's, I assume the EcoBoost version, so I'm sure this one could work if a tuner would pick it up and work it.)

I just realized the op hasn't posted since the thread was created. I have to say it's been an interesting thread, and been great to see how well the two most notable tuners have earned such loyalty with their great products and fantastic customer service.

Bosscav, did you make a decision?

We're not actually limited to the no-datalogging 4 tunes only model with Livernois, and least for 2010-2012 models. I assumed Livernois ran out of the MyCal touch based on what someone there telling me there were nearly out of them, but I was just browsing and it's still on their website, for those interested:

http://www.livernoismotorsports.com...Device-for-EcoBoost-Vehicles-%2d-Special.html

That's the tuner I got form them, and it's pretty awesome. It's a nice, BRIGHT touch screen easily seen on a fully sunny day. Having an SD card, it allows for datalogging, stores a LOT of tunes, not that you really need more than a few but you can if you want, 0-60 and 1/4 test runs with built in light tree, etc. Pretty freakin' cool unit.
