no dash lights, clock goes dim...autolamp switch?

i think i've had this before, but i wanna make sure before i go dumpster diving at the boneyard...headlights work, but no guage illumination and the clock gets really dim. climate control does not dim, and the head unit's aftermarket. is the autolamp switch the culprit?

I'd say it definitely sounds like the autolamp switch took a crap on you.

Exactly my issue. Did you replace the switch and now its working??
