Greets...Strange problem here...After parking the car, WITH the brakes working, I go to get in and drive, and NO BRAKES!! I couldn't even get it to go into drive. Had to start it in Neutral. Now, after further inspection, I have no brake lights, but there is no fluid loss that I can tell, the MC is still full. When I pump them, the pedal hits the floor every time, with no lights or resistance! Any suggestions...Thanks in advance

BOO (brake on off) switch. It connects to the brake pedal turns on the brake lights and lets you shift out of park. You can check the fuse or you may need a new one BOO switch.

Had the same problem last month. Check the 15 amp fuse(bottom right hand side of fuse block) before you mess with the BOO switch. I have a cracked tail light and my guess is that it had enough moisture after a ran shower that it blew the fuse when I applied the brakes. Replaced fuse and haven't had any problems yet.

If you want to find out for sure, you can go down by the brake pedal and move the boo switch around. Have someone stand behind the car and that will tell you what your problem is. I had the same thing a couple of months ago, 8 bucks and 2 minutes later, I could put the car in gear and best of all, I knew no one was going to rear end me :thumb:

No brake lights, plus no brakes...

There is a pin that goes through the brake pedal that links up to the brake booster/ master cylinder, and the BOO switch is also connected to that pin. Is it possible that the pin broke (highly unlikely) or got dislocated and fell out?
