First track day of 13 for the z and I.... 2 sessions so far 4 to go. Weather is holding out thankgod. Having a blast, learned most of track pretty fast. Now to keep the car in the line and start pushing harder in certain places. Fun, simple track!
I'm just stoked bout being on the track...
Session 3 was awesome. Smoother, faster, and pushing alot harder out of the corners. Really pushing the T1r proxies to their limits and finding their limits on the long turns. All corners I now know and just need to work on hitting my marks EVERYTIME. Which is easier said then done.
I hate early apexing, my common mistake. I am focusing on late apexes so it leaves pavement at track out and I can slowly start turning in earlier to hit that perfect spot. Practice practice

They put me in the advance group to see how id do. Went pretty well and they said I can run either group I wanted (They run 2 groups) Then a light rain covered the track last few laps. chasing down a newer porsche turbo and we both had a o shit moment. I came in a little too hot on turn 1 after the long straight. went into a nice slide before the corner. And he got on the gas to early. needless to say it was very fun to catch it and control the slide threw the turn. Instructor said that was handled perfect. Scared the turbo owner though he let me pass at the next straight, then he took it easy.
It was awesome. only got 5 sessions but not bad for 200 bucks. definatly going to their next event april 7. gonna have to change rotors though.....cracked my front L rotor. Raced pads ate that thing up (it was getting thin anyways)
