The SHO V6's are non-interference engines, so even if belt breaks, valves should be fine.
Hold up: Why wont they put the valves through the pistons if the timeing belt breaks? So the only thing that would happen is the crank cancer?

A lot of cars are Interference engines, meaning that the valves protrude into the combustion chamber at rest, and that timing keeps them and the pistons apart...Belt breaks, valves meet piston, carnage ensues...LOL

GenIII's are different and you can get the valves to meet with the pistons on certain occasions (mostly during camshaft failure). They have timing chains rather than belts so the belt breaking thing isn't a huge concern.
There are lots of small things, but on any older car you're going to have some issues now and then.
