Any chance your hose guy can do braided stainless steel hoses? I'd love to get a set of all 4 hoses but can never seem to find them. I found a few places list them but, when you order them, they are on backorder and then they finally refund the money.

Like everything in my life, things take much longer than I hope. I've been running these brakes for about a month and absolutely love them. Brake feel is much better and the modulation is great: braking for is based on pressure vs pedal travel like the OEM were. I'm running Powerstop Z26 pads and OEM Ford on the rest. I have my local hose guy making a run of hoses. I will make a new post with all the information about this swap and the mounting Kit I will have available once the hoses come in.
Great job, don't mean to hijack, what coilovers are those? On topic will you be able to supply or your hose guy the upgraded hoses? I assume they will be stailess steel braided.

These are all braided stainless. They just have a protective coating on them. I can get some rears made as well. They are not cheap. Prices jumped almost 30%, so it really sucks. These used to be in the $70-80 range for the pair and now are about $100.

I simply made these from some Monroe struts. Cut off the spring perch and cleaned up on my lathe. Sleeves are from racers edge inc. springs are QA1 8” long 2.5” ID on one end and 3.8” on the top for the stock upper mount. I tried 10” long and they were too long with the 500lb rate.

I will be supplying the hoses since there’s no realistic option outside of custom at this point. They are stainless braided lines that have a jacket for protection.

Can you get a quote on all 4 hoses to fit the stock setup and if he would be interested in offering a group buy?

Thank you

It’s going to be around $200 plus shipping based on what these cost me. The fittings are a little cheaper for the rear, but that only saves a few bucks.

I’d be the one funding and selling through my company like these GT350 mounting kits, so it’ll be up to me. I’m not terribly opposed, but would need a bunch of people interested. I think I can also figure the OEM caliper fitting to use. Not sure on the cost though.

Are the Goodridge ones not available? 12348 is the PN for them. They’re cheaper by far.

I have never had any luck finding them. I have ordered from multiple places. They give a ship date and then delay after delay leads to them canceling the order. I just checked again and it is only listed at smaller websites that I assume are old listings or that drop ship from a supplier (who doesn't actually have any. I found 3 sets on eBay in Australia. $221 plus $50 shipping.

Same boat I've ordered rear lines several times with no dice. Just got in an OEM hose line to bring in and use for a set of custom rears.

Same before work called my attention away. Lots of nothing - smaller sites with other parts listed.

Well, that’s good to know. Once I get these and some more Merkur lines made I’ll try and get some OEM ones done.

I did find the part # for the OEM caliper end fittings. Let’s see if we’re can get them. Other option is a banjo with an angle down.

Was out of town for work for the last week. I’ll see what I can do.

Finally got a few sets of hoses in. My hose guy is trying really hard to remedy this. I have enough for 4 sets of the GT350 brakes.

OEM will have to wait a few until I can get there again. On my drive home on Thursday the 1st I ended up going to the hospital and got my appendix removed. So, still a little down from that.

Before I make a new post on a few forums and FB, those who were active and interested, wanted to offer the 4 that are available.

Included: 2x adapter brackets, 2x rotor spacers, 4x adapter bracket bolts (OEM), 4x Allen head caliper mounting bolts, 2x DOT SS brake lines with banjo bolts, and a caliper hardware kit.

All that is needed is the rotors, calipers, and pads. Rotors are available either drilled for up to around 2020 and solid face there after (aftermarket 1pc have been inconsistent on fitment). Calipers are either plain grey anodized or red on the GT350R, and pads are whatever your heart desires.

Disclaimer I must add is that I have no idea how this will affect the stability system on the 13+ SHO. The 10-12 utilize a basic ABS and TCS, but the 13+ PP has the addition of a stability system. This is also a major undertaking, even though it is bolt-on, it will require a little bit of fitment. Especially with OEM wheels.

With that said, please don’t hesitate to reach out with any interest and/or feedback.

$595 for the complete mounting kit as pictured. I’m waiting until I know that the rest of the hoses are getting done before I open up the rest of the worms. Took almost 4 months just for these.

Please message if interested.

@SemperTim i hope you are 100% now and have paid the price of admission to this big game arena.

Not my first rodeo on things like this, but it has been a while since I’ve been in the arena. I know the market isn’t huge, but I generally do things like this to cover my own mods. I see a gap in the market and try to fill it. Every single part I’ve developed and produced has been run on my own vehicles successfully. I wouldn’t offer it otherwise.

Did this ever end up making it across the finish line? I know it’s quite a bit later but def would be interested if these are still available.

@SemperTim mind sharing an update? Pretty sure I heard you had it all sourced.

I have 2 sets boxed and ready to go out. The rest of the caliper bolts are on their way to me from getting plated (while other story on that). I have all the hoses and everything else.

For anyone wanting a set, please send me a PM.
