Congrats TA!!!!

The key was that 60 ft time!!!!

Hope to best you sometime this winter... In FL, where I am not penalized by the 900 ft starting altitude and high humidity/75 deg temp.

Also plan on having Torrie dyno tune car in person in St. Augustine!

Celebrity Cruise Trip to Italy was fantastic! Coach Class on planes really sucked.....

Glad to back home!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Love the updated Sig. Welcome back. I think Torrie has something up his sleave if you care to give it a try. I'm too far away from him. If it goes well I will be iterested in the set up. It could give the SHO's a run for their money. :)

Can you hint what we might find after looking up Torrie's sleeve????

Hmmm....interested to see what that might be! I do have an EB Flex as well. I'm sure whatever it is will carry over to the SHO as well

Wow, a SHO and an EB Flex. I figured you traded the EB Flex in on the SHO. DO you not flog the FLex anymore?

TA...are you the one field testing this for Torrie?

No, I live in Va. I'm too far to do it in person. I would have been willing to test it if he shipped it to me though. I suggested EcoBrick Bob since he has a place in Fl. I took a bunch of pics of the Intake Tract and emailed them to Torrie.

Darreli's SHO Times for comparison also!

1.843 60ft
5.290 330ft
8.198 1/8 ET
84.76 1/8 MPH
10.71 1000 ft ET
97.77 1000 ft MPH
12.81 1/4 ET
109.71 1/4 MPH

I also ran a 12.86 at 109.77....I have the MPH to beat Beefcake!

"Brick's are not as fast" Aero issues plus 400 lbs baggage........

Went to the track today and the air was crazy. I think this is a world record unless someone can provide a time slip to debunk it. See below.

I posted my times below yours to show how consistent both of us were throughout the entire run(s) Run 2 that had the 60 ft time over 2 was done with Traction Control Off. The temp was around 75 deg. during all my runs, and the humidity was getting higher after each run, with misting between 3rd and 4th run. Would guess my better 60 ft times are due to my smaller/lighter tires. Should have made this comparison a few weeks ago.:thankyou:

Went to Immokalee Regional Raceway last night - 1/8 mi track.

My best time : ***A run with some traction issues

60 Ft 2.0149 *** 2.1066
330 FT 5.5003 *** 5.6150
1/8 ET 8.4716 *** 8.5863
1/8 MPH 82.49 *** 82.60

If I had lowered my tire pressures (36 psi cold)
I think I could have done even better!

PLEASE COMPARE TO TECH ADDITION ##s.

Congrats Bob! Looks like you've got the 1/8 mile record for a brick now.

Based on a conversion chart showing what 1/4 mi would be relative to 1/8 mi time, I would have had a 13.2 - 13.25. Table worked to within a few thousandths for T.A.'s time in first post in this thread.

Believe with stickier tires and a few more tweaks, it may be possible to get the Brick in to the very high 12's. Hopefully tire pressures can do some of this.

Bradenton 1/4 mi strip Thursday 4-7-2011. Temp 74-75 Degrees and VERY HUMID.
Rained ******* me just before I got to track at 6 PM when it was still 85 Deg.

My last runs of the night were the best (at 9:45PM & 9:55PM)

60 FT ET 1.935 1.946

330 5.458 5.465

1/8 MI ET 8.413 8.420

1/8 MI MPH 83.21 83.21

1000 ET 10.960 10.963

1/4 MI ET 13.116 13.116

1/4 MI MPH 104.15 104.34

I will post slips later when I get my camera out.

To tell you how humid and hot it was, a new friend who usually runs 10.9 or lower
with his modded GT-R, turned a 11.2 and 122, down from usual 125 or 126 mph.

If I can get a night with better air, or temperatures of 60 deg or below.... I believe the Brick will run in the 12's!

I AM NOW "OFFICIALLY" THE WFF CHAMPION AGAIN!:dribble::dribble::sun::angelnot:

Hey Bob, I already congratulated you on another post for your amazing times, I am sure the 12's are just around the corner... go *** and... before to wack off all possible extra weight lol!
I still have a question though. I don't understand traction issues with an AWD... Do your tires spin/burn? I understand it with FWD or RWD, but AWD, here in Quebec, I was running on summer tires when it was around 20 F and it never burned. I have video on youtube under steve142857 (sorry for sound delayed) but one that the sound is good is the 0-60 in 5 sec. flat or 0-100kph in 5.3 sec... it was freezing outside with tsummer tires, no spin at all... I am going to the drag tonight and it will be 40F and I was told on this forum that I'd have traction issues, can you inform me more? thx

You're still stock right? Shouldn't have too much spin on the 20" summer tire. EBB is running a shorter diameter tire and I believe it's an all season. I know Livernois car has the all season Primacy on there car and it will spin but my 20" f1's might chirp but that's about it. Make sure you turn the TC off completely.

Good luck! Look forward to seeing your times!
