Congratulations! You have worked your ass off!! Now pm me the secrete sauce for traction!
fun video and it looked like you had a private track day? 370' DA? Love the ending!
Mad man tune from Brad?
going next 10-17-20 will be our best air of the year, going to see if this boat will go 11.999999999 full weight fingers crossed.
Thank you much! It wasn’t a private rental but it ended up basically being one...it was awesome! Basically go whenever you want!!
DA was about 16-1700 for that run and it was about 70 degrees out! Good luck man 10-17 you got it! Skip over 11-9 go straight to 11.8!

Are you on NT05’s?

Is there a way, perhaps a tuner would be able to answer it better, to disable the AWD for a proper FWD burn out? This would allow for increased traction on the primary drive wheels (fronts) and possibly allow for a higher launch RPM, thus increasing your E.T. and giving you a proper chance at hitting 10’s?

I was using NT555R’s and I think prep could have been way better! It was bright and sunny and tires were plenty warm but maybe I should have ore launched to get the tiny rocks off of them...they are soft enough to grab tiny tiny rocks/pebbles

We are working on that behind the scenes.

@802SHO congrats buddy! Well deserved, however we all need to come up with a solution to go faster. You should be deeps into the 10's now. With the hit and miss of TS things need to be changed.

Yes my 1/8 - 1/4 acceleration falls off. I’m also shifting 4-5 just before the finish line. Compared to the rest it’s a very slow shift. You can see in this Dragy of my 11.08 run...which was Dragy being dead nuts for the run. Acceleration just falls off big time. In a virtual race, that is where Jordan walks by me. He’s able to sustain about .4 G’s the whole way to the end. I sort of feel dumb now that I think about it. I don’t even know what my 4th gear shift rpm is set at. Maybe if I knew and asked for it to rev out in 4th...all the way to 6200 I wouldn’t be shifting into 5th at all until after the run 3A7B70EF 700C 433F A7C1 009D56597A02

On that pass your 60 foot was just okay. If it was a 1.70 you run a 10.98. We need to figure out how to toggle the power to the RDU asap.

I have the wiring diagram and actually pulled the kick panel off to start looking at it but haven't had much time since. Interrupting the signal is incredibly simple but what remains to be seen is how the car reacts to a perceived RWD failure.

What everyone needs to understand though is that first of all doing a burnout with street tires is widely regarded as a waste of time and rubber. Secondly, nobody has seemed to notice or care yet that these cars drive 3 out of 4 tires off of one side of an open differential, with the front driver's tire alone on the other. Fix that and you can probably kiss traction issues goodbye and start saying hello to mid-low tens 10's and broken drivetrain components. If someone put together a group buy on a run of LSD's I would literally fistfight all of you to get on that list. Paging @FiveLeeter918 !

I was also working on another critical launch component that I'm not going to discuss yet. I hit a snag with it and decided to just put it on the backburner since I figure it won't do me or anyone else a whole lot of good with the current amount of traction available.

I see what you are saying. We are trying to trick the computer with a resistor to thinking the RDU is still active when it isn't. We have to trick a couple of systems including ABS. Also Andrew and Jordan run a front drag radial so a burn out will be beneficial, however you are correct.....driveline components will take a big strain if the car hooks. With just a good burn out on the drag radial, both cars would have gone into the 10's awhile ago.

just do that single click on the ebrake to disable the RDU, seems to work for a few times for those wanting to be risky lol
