Got a few good WOT runs in and it appears to help a lot with my aforementioned posts! Doesn't hesitate or jump into neutral and red-line between shifts! Going to replace spark plugs soon and hope Spring/Summer fuel grades with a little E85 thrown in for good measure will help even more! Thanks LMS for staying on top of this tune for the SHO platform! This is what my company calls, "Customer Delight!"

Recently we have beennhearing that with all of the cold weather that some customers are having an issue with their SHO's cutting out on them so we have come up with an updated tune to help solve that issue! To recieve the newest v11 tune go ahead and shoot us over a tune request email to [email protected] with:
Your name
the year of your taurus sho
as well as the serial number on your tuner device and we will apply the newest tune for you!

I don't live in a "cold climate" state. Should I stick with v10? What other modifications were made in V11 that will help performance?

V10 is still the old version, V11 has been out for quite some time now, this is a modification to that tune, but either way getting the V11 tune would be an improvement over the V10!

I had offered up my car for them to ship and test with. I got a call from them telling me to upgrade to a newer version rather than sending them my car and that should fix my issue. I haven't had the time to do so yet.

I gave up on my tune early last year, does this fix the issues lots of people had with the 1-2 shift hang?

I dont know if it is a definite update to the v11 tune but since I had them send me an updated tune when my strategy code changed things seem better.

WoT throttle shifts have no hesisitation like beflre. It got below 40 today and it still pulled and shifted great. Could be speculation or placebo but it feels better.

LMS 93P TS 3bar is what its called instead of the v11 93.3356cc98681c1d05d377d57437971967

The fix is switching to Gearhead.

Lmao I know, LMS customer service has always been a pain too. I just don't want to deal with the hassle of selling a one off tuner, and then buying a new one. It's not a huge enough gain to justify the trouble for me.

You can't go wrong with AJPturbo, GearHead and I've been reading good reviews of Ortiz Performance lately. My experience with LMS customer service has been more than great the last three years, so I can't relate to you on that.

However, you have their tuner, so you might as well request the latest revision and see how it feels. If you're not satisfied, then that may help justify making a switch.

I agree that having Livernois' dedicated tuner makes it less convenient and more costly to switch to a different company for tuning. However, I have received absolutely stellar responses and service from Livernois lately.

In the past, there may have been one or two of the sales guys whose knowledge was lacking and but those guys have been weeded out. It might take more time than we like but when there is a problem, I have found that Livernois always steps up to the plate and resolves it.

But why would you talk to a sales guy about an issue? The tuning guys are the one's I've had issues with. In the same email telling me I don't need a tune update for my exhaust because I still have half the factory downpipe, but yet saying my exhaust is too free flowing and it needs more of that magical backpressure. Any company that pushes the backpressure myth isn't a company that I want to trust with my engine, to be honest.

Plenty of people start a conversation with the sales team and they are often the ones who are on the forums. I don't give a rat's ass who anyone uses to tune their cars. All I am saying is that Livernois has provided me with excellent customer service and have gone above and beyond on the rare occasions that I had an issue....once the right individual gets involved.
