New v11 tune update!

Yeah mine's here. So not to sound stupid, but how long does it take to download? My tuner has been flashing starting system please wait for 5 minutes. Plus when I installed the tuner updates applications it said tuner error code 2753.

My first Cal device was junk and gave me error codes and would always fail half way into uploading tune in my car which is very bad! But LMS and their great service gave me a new tuner device! This one works great! You might be going down same path.

Hmmm. Worked fine on the first upload when they sent it to me. If it doesn't do something soon I'll start over.

Try unplugging it and closing the app and restarting it and check your firewall as well

Yep, operators error lol. Had to go all the way out and start over from the Tuner update applications. Thanks .

Anthony emailed me yesterday and I uploaded the tune - I only had one chance to use the full potential of the 93 tune on the on-ramp! Seems excellent but the real test will be from a dig. My last V11 would have issues during the shifts from 1st to 2nd and sometimes 2nd to 3rd - car didn't shift at all and appeared to slip into Neutral somehow because the engine at top of the gear right when it should shift would red-line and smoke pours out the exhaust. I just had a new PTU installed and transmission work done about 1,000 miles ago so it can't be those parts failing.

Thats more than likely caused by the tires not grabbing and when they dont grab the car will not allow it to shift, sometimes different tires as well as over filling the ptu slightly and making sure traction control is off will help this out alot!

I don't know if it's a bad habit, but I always turn TCS off when I start the car. The only solution I've found so far is to shift manually. But still very happy with LMS!!!

Also regarding the tune seems like the shifts are a bit smoother, not sure exactly what winter related issues to be looking for as nothing seemed too bad on the previous tune other than the occasional odd choice of shifts causing hops at slower speeds in traffic. This is all using 93 soft tune btw

Do you have the trans overfilled by a half pint or so? That might help with the hops at slower speeds. Aside from lowered shift pressures, proper tire setup for road conditions, etc.

Honestly I haven't even messed with her yet as I've only got about 6k miles on her so far. So tires are the stock Michelin primacy all seasons and trans is factory filled. So I'd chalk it up to that combined with the rather cold weather we've been having this winter.
