New TSB

I just read that Ford put out a new TSB about a custom tune being used on the new SHO's. It said if engine failure to void all of the warranty. Well some of us know that if a custom tune causes failure that is a chance we take.

But with that said is there a safe tune that some one has out. What I mean by that is a street tune that we can trust that well give us little more HP and TQ.

Hmmmmm...tsb?

I run a large Ford shop and have yet to see this "TSB". Ford generally doesnt work that way. They may issue a letter to the dealers as an FYI but not a TSB.
The truth is anytime you alter your vehicle from oem you risk voiding your warranty--the trick is...the dealer has to prove it. Little things like replaceing the exhaust will only void the warranty on that particular component. In the 16 years i have been in the business I can only think of one time I have asked to have a warranty voided. This was on a VW when i ran a VW shop and we already knew the kid had his vehicle chipped and he lied about it several times. The thing to remember is we really don't like to have to void someones warranty, unfortunatly there are some very FOOLISH people out there.
